Ryanair took a loss of 20 million euro’s in the third quarted of 2018. When compared to the third quarter of last year, when there was a profit of 105.6 million euro’s, Ryanair looks to be in trouble. However, the revenue has has grown from 1.53 to 1.41 billion euro’s compared to the third quarter last year.

Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair had the following statement about the third quarter figures: “While a 20 million euro loss in Q3 (third quarter) was disappointing, we take comfort that this was entirely due to weaker than expected air fares so our customers are enjoying record low prices, which is good for current and future traffic growth,”

Investors are not taking the news very well, as the share price is dropping today.
