Flight is something we take for granted. We can hop on a plane to almost anywhere in the world and while we’re in the air we’re probably thinking about what to eat, whether to have a nap, or our destination. However, there are some interesting facts about the safest mode of passenger transportation that might surprise you.
There will be many new aircraft in the skies over the next few months and years which are under development now. The first to be seen may be the Boeing 737 MAX 8, a fuel efficient single aisle commercial plane, designed to be an affordable way of accessing new destinations. It has just achieved US Federal Aviation Administration certification after four years of intensive testing, and, with over 3,600 orders in place already, is the fastest selling airplane in Boeing history.
